A study presented at the annual conference of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology found that 29% of women who always work night shifts had an increased risk of miscarriage, whilst 22% of women working mixed shift patterns had menstrual disruption. The study was led by Dr Linden Stocker and Dr Ying Cheong and based at Southampton’s Princess Anne Hospital.
