Cannabis doubles younger men's risk of infertility, study finds

Taking cannabis doubles the risk of men under 30 producing abnormal sperm which could significantly lower their fertility and prevent them from having children, according to the world’s largest study into lifestyle and sperm quality.
Researchers found that drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes do not appear to have any effect on the size and shape of sperm that men produce, although cannabis had a marked impact on sperm morphology in younger men.

A total of 18 babies are thought now to have been affected by a contaminated batch of intravenous fluid. One baby at London's Guy's and St Thomas' hospital has died, another 17 have blood poisoning.
Parenteral nutrition is supposed to deliver a variety of nutrients intravenously when a baby is unable to eat on its own.

FREE ENTRY including refreshments and home-made cakes.

The usual toys and craft activities will be available for babies and toddlers. Breastfeeding and bottle feeding welcome. Feeding advice from breast feeding counsellor available. Parking available in St Mary's Street car park. Entrance to the church hall is through the blue gate at the back of the car park.

This month's special guest will be Crackpots Ceramics. They will be around all morning to help make painted, ceramic gifts for Fathers' Day. Prices start from £6.50 and everything will be fired and ready for collection in time for Fathers's Day. Fancy making a mug with your baby's handprint on or letting your toddler loose with a paint brush and a plate? Come along this Friday for some messy fun! (Please bring cash or cheques as items must be paid for upfront)
